Step 1. Questions

Your body is a performance machine. Like a car, your body requires fuel and maintenance. Each body system is made up of organs. What is the role of each body system? How does a person take care of each body system?



This e-Journal project is your chance to explore the body system of your choice. Use these questions to guide you along the way.
  • What organs make up the body system you chose to research?

  • What is the job of the body system you selected? Some body systems have more than one function.

  • How can a person take care of the body system you have chosen?

  • What other questions do you have about the body systems?
First, visit the Web sites listed in Step 2. Then, research the answers to these questions. Take notes in the note-taking boxes. You may also visit other approved Web sites, or research body systems in the encyclopedia and other resources at the library.



Then, follow Steps 3 and 4 to write your report.

This great site includes games, articles, and graphics for almost every body part! The games allow you to identify body parts and place them in their correct location. There are hints and clues to help you.if you miss.

This site has great animated graphics and explanations of the skeletal and digestive systems, the heart, and brain. Explore each of these areas and find out about more of the body’s parts and organs.
