Click on Animal Profiles from the top navigation bar.
Choose an animal that lives in the zoo. Click on its name to learn more about the animal and its habitat.
On a piece of paper, draw a picture of the animal, write down its name, and list three to five interesting facts about it.
Click Prospect Park Wildlife Center and then Animals.
Click each picture to see a larger one and animal facts.
To find out about zoo activities, click Highlights at the bottom of the page.
Explore another wildlife center.
Click on In the Forest. Read the information.
Click on Fighting Forest Fires from the right navigation bar.Read the page, including "How People Around the World Use Trees."
On a separate sheet of paper, list three ways in which people use trees.
Click Survival Skills. Click and read Water...
Click the Back arrow and read the other five sections.
Click Simulator and follow the onscreen directions to test what you learned. Can you stay alive?
