Step 1. Questions
The first dinosaurs lived more than 200 million years ago. They lived all over the world. Today, scientists know a lot about dinosaurs.
Write a report about your favorite dinosaur. To do so, you will study how dinosaurs lived and moved. Here are some questions to help you:
What is your favorite dinosaur?
Why is your dinosaur special?
Where did your dinosaur live?
What was your dinosaur's life like?
Are you ready? Visit the Web sites listed in Step 2. Look for answers to the questions above. Write down what you learn in the boxes.
You may search other Web sites. Or learn about dinosaurs from books at the library. When you are ready, go on to steps 3 and 4.

How well do you know your dinosaurs? Learn about them on this Web site from the San Diego Natural History Museum. Start by clicking on CARNIVORES on the left, then go down the list. You can print out a dinosaur picture and make your own coloring book!
