Step 1. Questions

Some animals eat plants. Did you know that rabbits eat carrots and lettuce?

Can you name another animal that eats plants? This e-Journal will help you find one. Then you will write about that animal. Here are some questions to think about.
  • Where does your animal live?
  • What does it like to eat?
  • How else does your animal survive?
Are you ready? Look for answers to the questions. Visit the Web sites in Step 2. Write about what you learn in the boxes.

Here is a fun site about animals! Click on a letter. You will see a list of animal names that start with that letter. Click on a name to learn about the animal. Look for an animal that eats plants.

So Many Things to Eat!
Look at the animal shown on the page. Write its name in the box. What does that animal eat? Click on a food item on the menu. When you find the correct food, write its name next to the animal. When you have matched all the animals to their foods, choose one that eats plants. Go back and look at it.
