Sounds are everywhere. Few places are really quiet. Car engines roar. Telephones ring. Doors squeak and bang. Even as you read this, you can hear sounds.
Write a few paragraphs that describe a sound you hear everyday. Begin by listening to different sounds. Here are some questions to help you:
What are some low sounds and high sounds that you hear?
What words describe sounds?
What sounds do people pay attention to?
How can sounds help you?
