A Snowy Day (p. 228)

Step 1. Questions

What might you do on a snowy day? Would you play in the snow? Would you shovel the snow? Maybe you would stay inside.

Write a story about a snowy day. Here are some questions to think about:
  • What clothes are good to wear in the snow?
  • What fun things can I do on a snowy day?
  • Who might I be with on a snowy day?
Are you ready? Look for answers to the questions. Visit the Web sites in Step 2. Write about what you learn in the boxes.

With teacher supervision, you may search other Web sites. You also can learn about snowy days from books at the library. When you are ready, go on to Steps 3 and 4.

Step 2. Research

Find answers for the questions in Step 1. Visit these Web sites. Take notes on this page.
