Fun with Water (p. 314)

Step 1. Questions

How do you enjoy water? Do you swim in a pool? Do you ride ocean waves? Do you fish in a lake?

Write a story about a time when you had fun in water. Here are some questions to think about:
  • When did you have a fun time in water?
  • What activity did you do in water?
  • What people were you with?
Are you ready? Look for answers to the questions. Visit the Web sites in Step 2. Write about what you learn in the boxes.

With teacher supervision, you may search other Web sites. You also can learn about water activities from books at the library. When you are ready, go on to Steps 3 and 4.

Step 2. Research

Find answers to the questions in Step 1. Visit these Web sites. Take notes on this page.
