The human body is ready for the reproduction process at, puberty which usually occurs before the age of 14. Male reproductive organs called testes produce hormones. These reproductive organs are located in the scrotum. The hormone called testosterone causes body changes in a male. The voice deepens and hair grows on the face and body. Sperm begin to be produced, which move through the urethra. Female reproductive organs are called ovaries. They produce the hormone estrogen. It causes breasts to develop and hips to widen. Every 28 days, one mature egg is released from a female’s reproductive organs.
