1. As a space engineer, you might work to improve the design of space telescopes. Find out why putting a telescope in orbit above Earth was a major design improvement. Online Activity: A Little Bit of Hubble History
Use the information at the Web site to create a time line. Type your notes below. For each date, tell what happened in the development of the Hubble Telescope. Later, you can print and use your notes to draw and label a time line.

Offline Activity: Science News
