1. Meet some special animals! To learn about some endangered animals go to Image Galleria.

  • Then click Species Profiles to find out where it lives.
  • Click the Back arrow twice. Explore other animals in the same way.
  • Be sure to explore the panda, tiger, cheetah, bison, tortoise, and prairie dog.

Match each endangered animal with a fact about the animal.

2. Read what other young people have to say about endangered animals. Go to School World Internet Education.

  • Choose a group of animals that you like. Click on an animal you want to learn more about.
  • Read the student report about the animal and take notes.
Offline Activity: Endangered Species Project
Draw a picture of the animal. Write the animal’s name on your picture. Then use your notes to write three sentences about the animal.
