Offline Activity: Discoverer's Journal
Howard Carter, who discovered King Tut’s tomb, wrote diary entries about what he saw as he and his crew excavated the rooms. These entries offer a clearer, more personal understanding of what it was like to step inside a tomb which had remained untouched for over 3,000 years. After taking the virtual tour of Khufu’s pyramid, write a journal entry of your own. Imagine that you are the first to enter the pyramid, and write down your impressions of the interior of this world wonder.
