1. Look up, look down, and look all around! Check out some Washington, D.C., tourist attractions. Go to Virtual Tour of the National Mall.

  • Listen to your teacher tell about the monument. Watch as the picture moves.
  • Click the picture to stop the movement. Then use your cursor to move it yourself.
  • Click the Back arrow to see other Washington, D.C., attractions.
  • Look at Lincoln Memorial and The Wall in the same way.

   There is so much to see at the National Mall! First, I went to the Washington Monument. I found out that there are 50    surrounding the base of the monument. That’s one for each state!    The Washington monument rises    feet into the air. Wow!

    Then I went to the Lincoln Memorial. There are 36 huge    around the entrance.    The Gettysburg    and Lincoln’s second inaugural speech are on the walls of the monument.    The thing I liked the most about this monument is    

    I also went to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. People call it        One name that I saw is        The thing that impressed me the most about this memorial
