Offline Activity: The Long Walk to Oregon
Imagine that you are a woman or child traveling on the Oregon Trail. Using the information you have taken from the site, write about a typical day on the trail. List all of the tasks you have to do from dawn until sundown. Write about your hopes and fears for what lies ahead. Write about the weather and the things you like and dislike about the journey.
