Chapter 4: Life in Colonial New York

Describe what life was like for people living in New York during this time. Also describe why many people moved to New York.
Research New York during the colonial era. Here are some questions to help you think about your research.- Why did people join the colony?
- How did they live?
- What challenges did they face?
- Why was New Netherlands renamed New York?
- Why was New York City one of the largest cities in the British colonies during the 1700s?
