What do you think attracted the first settlers to Missouri in the 1800s? Missouri has welcomed people from countries all over the world since the time of these pioneers. Diverse groups still celebrate their ethnic backgrounds through festivals and parades. There is also a wide variety of recreational activities in Missouri that reflect its rich culture. Many musicians, artists and athletes grew up in Missouri. How have these different groups changed life in Missouri?
Research the history of immigration and the arts in Missouri. Here are some questions to guide your research.
