Unit 2: All About Earth

With a geography focus, children learn to identify different communities where people live, work, and have fun together. People change the land and move from place to place. Earth is made up of land and water. There are different kinds of land, such as mountains and plains, and different kinds of water, such as oceans and rivers. We learn about weather and seasons, natural resources and recycling. Our homes are in a neighborhood. States make up our country.
